Cleaning Up the MESS

In my head, it's messier...

It is already a month since I've completed my internship. This also mark a month of my job at the same workplace. Yes, I already received my first ouh-I'm-so-excited salary. Not much but enough for me. Everything remain the same except there are more work now, and more trust.

I'm being lazy on my crochet work, so I'm unprocrochetinating on my projects. Busy with life does not include my projects, lately it seems.

Enough babbling. Yesterday, my same-age cousin got engaged with a Johorean. Makes me think WHEN will be my time. Damn it! Damn it all. OK, I admit that I'm jealous. Maybe mine is being someone's before being mine. I met many ungentle guys in my entire life. I rather be in friends with those guys so I can casually smack their faces without being sued. I can handle rude friends but not rude lovers. I'm not an M.

Blogging at work makes me feel mature. Yup, it is only imaginary. I'm still young, I can imagine anything that I want! I really don't wanna be older. But if time stops, there will be no progression in what I did and there will be no chance for me to do other stuff... Yes, I imagine when time stops, everybody is frozen, in time.

Babbling again. Sorry. I'm cleaning my thoughts, that's why I'm posting this mess here. So feel free to read it and if you are kind enough please help me sort it out.

Internship

It's already a month! I've got 3 months more to complete my internship.

I am an intern in a ground operation company. An intermediate between travel agencies and clients. More to a tour wholesaler, though.

I don't know if  it's legal to mention the company's name, but I choose not to because it might end up bad.

Well, my time here is great. Not too many work I need to do. But sometimes bored with no task at hand. I always ask for any task that can be done by me. I'm a person who cannot sit still, or I'll be drifted toMaybe I'm not much of help because I just started this internship a month ago.

Maybe next time I'll can give my best shot and can be of help to everyone in this office.

I've got my own mission after all.

Pray for my success!

Just randomly updating

Hi! I'm in my final exam week. And 1 more paper to go! Oh yeah! LOL. I have no plans for upcoming-awaited semester break. What will you do if you are me? My mom ask me to find part-time or something, but well, I'm too lazy to step out the house when I'm already in the house. So that's that.

My last paper is this Friday. I haven't read anything. (See, I told you I'm lazy). And Mom said she's gonna pick me up this Sunday. That's 2 days after "freedom-official-kinda"!

OK, that's it. I have no mood for this. Gonna clean this dirty keyboard. Out!

Hisashiburi~

Oh, cobwebs everywhere! *cleaning, dusting*

I know it has been soooo looong... It's fasting month again. And Hari Raya is approaching! Without me realizing, it has been more than 1 year~ Hooray! I'm sorry to those who still follow this blog. I know! Forgive me for my laziness. Maybe you can tell me what's your plan this Hari Raya?

p/s: I'm no more a dark person. Thanks to my not-so-long-but-painful life experience.

It's snowing in Google!

I found out today, Google is having a white Christmas! I'm not celebrating Christmas, but what Google did interested me. See...

Oh yes, before I forgot, type ---> let it snow <--- (without the arrow, of course!) and you will virtually see snow!
Just do what the snowman says~

Merry Christmas to people who celebrate it!

(I'm not celebrating Christmas... Why, you ask. Me: Why not?)

My Friend Said I'm a Gamer

As the title stated, I'm a gamer. I like love games. That's why I wish someday I can meet a real otaku. Currently, I play CabalSEA Online as a Force Shielder. Actually, I've been playing this MMORPG for more than 3 years. That long? Never notice that. If you wanna find me in there, find CodenameFakeIce1. ATTENTION: This is not a promo.

OK. Schoolgirl composition stops here. Well, I don't think my friend like my gamer side. When I start playing games, I'll concentrate on it until it ends or I lose. It's just so interactive.

When someone wants to play the same game as me, I don't understand why they don't know how to play it.
Obviously, there are help and tutorial at the beginning of the game. I'm not mad or anything. It's just weird.

So, when they ask me how to play the game, I'll say 'ReAd ThE InStruCtioNs!'. That sentence makes my life easy!

This post don't have any motive anyway... Not a whine, either. Thanks for reading my mumble~

Jokes about English language.

Wow! 2 posts in a row, per day? I must be kidding myself. Oh well, I found this in the Lang-8.com community, just wanna share with you.

I found this searching Google for English language jokes:

私はこれが英語のジョークのためにGoogleで検索見つかりました:

The English Language

Have you ever wondered why foreigners have trouble with the English Language?

Let's face it,

English is a stupid language. 英語は愚かな言語です。

There is no egg in the eggplant, ナスには卵がありません,

No ham in the hamburger, ハンバーガーにはハムは、ありません

and neither pine nor apple in the pineapple. とパイナップルの松もリンゴでもないがあります。

English muffins were not invented in England; 英語のマフィンは、イギリスで発明されていませんでした。

French fries were not invented in France. フライドポテト(フランスのfries)はフランスで発明されなかった。

We sometimes take English for granted、
But if we examine its paradoxes we find that:
当然私達は時々、英語取る
我々はそのパラドックスを調べる場合しかし、我々は、ことがわかります。

Quicksand takes you down slowly, 流砂は、徐々にあなたを取る

Boxing rings are square, ボクシングのリングは、正方形です。

And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.とモルモットではどちらのギニアからです。また、豚です。

If writers write, why don't fingers don't fing? 作家が書く場合は、指がfingはしないでくださいしていないなぜですか?

If the plural of tooth is teeth, 歯(tooth)の複数形は歯(teeth)である場合,

Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth? 電話ボックス(booth)の複数形は、電話beethでも良いんじゃないかな?

If the teacher taught, 先生("teacher")は教えた("taught")場合、

Why didn't the preacher praught? なぜ説教者("preacher")のpraughtではないのですか?

Why do people park on driveways and
Drive on parkways?

なぜ車道に人々の公園を行うと
パークウェイズでドライブ?

English was invented by people, not computers
And it reflects the creativity of the human race
(Which of course isn't a race at all).

英語は人ではなく、コンピュータによって発明されました
そしてそれは、人類("race")の創造性を反映している
(すべてのレース("race")ではない当然のもの)。

Why it is that when I wind up my watch
It starts,
But when I wind up this observation,
It ends?

それは私が私の時計を巻き上げるときにはなぜ
それは、開始されます
しかし、私はこの観察を終わらせる時、
それは終わる?
This may be hard to understand.. Cx

Fruit Bean Curd Pudding

Finally, I'm at home! SO, I made a sweet corn pudding. You can say it's a DIY set. How did I make it?

Giant's Fruit Bean Curd Pudding Powder
 Inside, there are...
Fruit bean curd powder and fruit sugar
First, boil 3 liter of water.

Then, pour a tin of evaporated milk and add some sugar. I use 6 spoons of sugar, but if you are not really sweet-tooth type, lessen the amount.

Keep stirring until it is boiled.
The colour become yellowish
It's boiled? Good, so turn off the fire.

Then, pour in the powder and fruit sugar.
Don't forget this tiny packet
Put the finished mixture into a mould, or if you don't have any, you can simply put in containers, but i like fancy puddings so I put it in this mould (actually, I got this mould after I finish up a batch of pudding bought from Giant some time ago. Lychee pudding! Delicious~~)
Reuse mould

So, I made 4 of  'em

Let it cool down for a while, then put the in the fridge.
Caution: Do not put them in the freezer. If you do that, your pudding will not be pudding. Yeah, I know You wanna eat it, but be patience, OK?

Finally the time you are waiting for is here! Let's eat the pudding!!

Alternatively, you can see the recipe that's with the package.

P/S: Eheh.. I just wanna know how do people feel when they post recipes on their blogs. thanks for reading!

Midnight blogging!

OK OK, let me just admit it. Even though no one read what I post in here, people who left their greetings in my chat box see it!

I always put this blog's URL in everything I post at other people's website. I guess, maybe this blog is too dark, isn't it? At least I've put my sunshine in it.

Oh, it's already past 1 AM. Better land soon. Need to rise early 2-mo-ro~

And I wanna dream of torturing someone. *evil laugh*

yeah, yeah, whatever...

It's Almost Finished!

2 more papers tomorrow and I'm half free! Then I can relax while waiting for my coming English paper. Ha... Now what? Ah, yes. Well, have you ever wonder that everything you post or do on the web can be a rich source to those who are spying on your, like, your country? I always think of that. Sound silly? Yes, it does. This topic makes me think it could be serious. And can this not-so-interesting blog be such thing? Sure... NOT!!!
Hey, wait! What am I mumbling? Why isn't anyone stopping me? Oh, yeah. This is my blog. MY BLOG! Heh, what the heck. I just want to stabilize my overflowing thoughts. Gotta stick it somewhere, right?
I can't wait to get home, now that I'm in my college. I missed my Kuma-kun! FYI, that's my teddy. Hey, I'm a girl, duh~  Got lots of things planned out. Learn to cook, hang out with my former college's friends, etc. I can't wait~!

My Kuma-kun~

I Just Wanna Live

Recently, I've becoming more positive, thanks to the people around me. Well, I just realize that I set up this blog a while ago just for me to WHINE! Then what is happening is, I didn't!

KEEP WHINING AND BLAME OTHERS - Sticker
From SplatCatz, Los Angeles, United States
And that is what I think... And now, I'm thinking about mocking others... Coz it feels good the last time I did it. Who should I start? Ah, yes.

Maybe not. Not yet...

My Issues...

Lately, I've become less motivated... I don't know why, but I think I'm HOMESICK!!
I'm not asking your pity or anything, but I strongly feel that I'm homesick. Just imagine, a spoil brat can't go home for more than a month. (Who is that brat? Me, of course!) It's so frustrating. I'm always feeling of giving up. My mom came to my college last week, but it's not the same as coming home. The homesick feeling is building up resulting... LAZINESS!

What am I gonna do? I'm feeling critical, and my blog is the only place that I can whine about my sometimes-interesting-life. Here, in my college, I always spend, spend, spend!

Argh! Real life is so painful! I don't even feel secured anymore. Maybe you wonder why. Yes, here there are lots of friends around me. But I just need some time with myself and myself alone.

That's just my issues, but I hope someone can save me from this misery. I just can't bear with it anymore...

*at the top of the mountain, SSSCCCRRREEEAAAAMMMIINNNGGG!!!!*

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Qing gei wo ang pao~

It's Chinese New Year today!
You are wondering, why am I ranting about CNY?
I'm a Malaysian, that's why!

Chinese New Year - often called Chinese Lunar New Year although it actually is lunisolar - is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. Despite its winter occurrence, in China it is known as "Spring Festival" ends with Lantern Festival which is on the 15th day.
[Source: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]

And I wonder why it's called Spring Festival, despite it happens in winter...
When the festive season is around the corner, we'll think about shopping. And yes, a very fabulicious discounted items on sale and the shoppers went crazy! In Malaysia, not only the Chinese people, but also others that will take the chance and shop till they drop! Me? Oh, not me. I don't really like shopping, I rather save my money for something like... ehem... *PSP, maybe?* You didn't read that, do you? Good!

Preceding days
On the days before the New Year celebration Chinese families give their home a thorough cleaning. There is a Cantonese saying "Wash away the dirt on ninyabaat" (年廿八,洗邋遢), but the practice is not usually restricted on nin'ya'baat (年廿八, the 28th day of month 12). It is believed the cleaning sweeps away the bad luck of the preceding year and makes their homes ready for good luck. Brooms and dust pans are put away on the first day so that the newly arrived good luck cannot be swept away. Some people give their homes, doors and window-frames a new coat of red paint. Homes are often decorated with paper cutouts of Chinese auspicious phrases and couplets. Purchasing new clothing, shoes, and receiving a hair-cut also symbolize a fresh start.
First day

The first day is for the welcoming of the deities of the heavens and earth, officially beginning at midnight. Many people, especially Buddhists, abstain from meat consumption on the first day because it is believed that this will ensure longevity for them. Some consider lighting fires and using knives to be bad luck on New Year's Day, so all food to be consumed is cooked the day before. For Buddhists, the first day is also the birthday of Maitreya Bodhisattva (better known as the more familiar Budai Luohan), the Buddha-to-be. People also abstain from killing animals.
Most importantly, the first day of Chinese New Year is a time when families visit the oldest and most senior members of their extended family, usually their parents, grandparents or great-grandparents.
Some families may invite a lion dance troupe as a symbolic ritual to usher in the Chinese New Year as well as to evict bad spirits from the premises. Members of the family who are married also give red envelopes containing cash to junior members of the family, mostly children and teenagers. Business managers also give bonuses through red envelopes to employees for good luck and wealth. (I like this paragraph! Ang pao!!)
While fireworks and firecrackers are traditionally very popular, some regions have banned them due to concerns over fire hazards, which have resulted in increased number of fires around New Years and challenged municipal fire departments' work capacity. For this reason, various city governments (e.g., Hong Kong, and Beijing, for a number of years) issued bans over fireworks and firecrackers in certain premises of the city. As a substitute, large-scale fireworks have been launched by governments in cities like Hong Kong to offer citizens the experience.

Second day
Incense is burned at the graves of ancestors as part of the offering and prayer ritual.
The second day of the Chinese New Year is for married daughters to visit their birth parents. Traditionally, daughters who have been married may not have the opportunity to visit their birth families frequently.
On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to all dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.
Business people of the Cantonese dialect group will hold a 'Hoi Nin' prayer to start their business on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. The prayer is done to pray that they will be blessed with good luck and prosperity in their business for the year.
Third day
The third day is known as chì kǒu (赤口), directly translated as "red mouth". chì kǒu is also called chì gǒu rì (赤狗日). chì gǒu means "the God of Blazing Wrath" (熛怒之神). It is generally accepted that it is not a good day to socialize or visit your relatives and friends.
Fifth day
In northern China, people eat jiǎo zi (饺子餃子), or dumplings on the morning of Po Wu (破五). This is also the birthday of the Chinese god of wealth.
It is also common in China that on the 5th day people will shoot off firecrackers in the attempt to get Guan Yu's attention, thus ensuring his favor and good fortune for the new year.
Seventh day
The seventh day, traditionally known as renri 人日, the common man's birthday, the day when everyone grows one year older. It is the day when tossed raw fish salad, yusheng, is eaten. This is a custom primarily among the overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia and Singapore. People get together to toss the colourful salad and make wishes for continued wealth and prosperity.
For many Chinese Buddhists, this is another day to avoid meat, the seventh day commemorating the birth of Sakra, lord of the devas in Buddhist cosmology who is analogous to the Jade Emperor.
Chinese New Year's celebrations, on the eighth day, in the Vancouver suburb of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
Eighth day
Another family dinner to celebrate the eve of the birth of the Jade Emperor. However, everybody should be back to work by the 8th day. All of government agencies and business will stop celebrating by the eighth day.
Ninth day
The ninth day of the New Year is a day for Chinese to offer prayers to the Jade Emperor of Heaven (天宮) in the Taoist Pantheon. The ninth day is traditionally the birthday of the Jade Emperor. This day is especially important to Hokkiens. Come midnight of the eighth day of the new year, Hokkiens will offer thanks giving prayers to the Emperor of Heaven. Offerings will include sugarcane as it was the sugarcane that had protected the Hokkiens from certain extermination generations ago. Incense, tea, fruit, vegetarian food or roast pig, and paper gold is served as a customary protocol for paying respect to an honored person.
Tenth day
The other day when the Jade Emperor's birthday is celebrated.
Thirteenth day
On the 13th day people will eat pure vegetarian food to clean out their stomach due to consuming too much food over the last two weeks.
This day is dedicated to the General Guan Yu, also known as the Chinese God of War. Guan Yu was born in the Han dynasty and is considered the greatest general in Chinese history. He represents loyalty, strength, truth, and justice. According to history, he was tricked by the enemy and was beheaded.
Almost every organization and business in China will pray to Guan Yu on this day. Before his life ended, Guan Yu had won over one hundred battles and that is a goal that all businesses in China want to accomplish. In a way, people look at him as the God of Wealth or the God of Success.
Fifteenth day
The fifteenth day of the new year is celebrated as Yuan Xiao Festival/Yuánxiāojié (元宵节) or Shang Yuan Festival/Shàngyuánjié (上元节) or Lantern Festival, otherwise known as Chap Goh Mei (Chinese: 十五暝; pinyin: shí wǔ míng; literally "the fifteen night") in Fujian dialect. Rice dumplings tangyuan (汤圆; 湯圓; pinyin: tāngyuán), a sweet glutinous rice ball brewed in a soup, is eaten this day. Candles are lit outside houses as a way to guide wayward spirits home. This day is celebrated as the Lantern Festival, and families walk the street carrying lighted lanterns.
In Malaysia and Singapore, this day is celebrated by individuals seeking for a love partner, a different version of Valentine's Day. Normally, single women would write their contact number on mandarin oranges and throw it in a river or a lake while single men would collect them and eat the oranges. The taste is an indication of their possible love: sweet represents a good fate while sour represents a bad fate. (Oh, I never knew that! Is that true.. Hmm...)
This day often marks the end of the Chinese New Year festivities.

Well, that's it! The TV program is all talking about CNY. I don't understand a thing, so I turn it off!
A mandarin - It's like a compulsory thing to have in my house when CNY is nearing, because this is the time to get it easily! It's sweet too!! Yummy~

Not all Malaysians multilingual, but all Malaysians understand Malay and English! That makes me dual-lingual, right? I'm lucky because I can speak and write English well. Yes, very well, not like other countries which they say a developed country (Developed? Is it because of the tech?) e.g. JAPAN! Most of their people can't really speak or understand English even though they learned it throughout their school life. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

My message for Japanese people: English is very important! Learn it well!  <---それを自分で翻訳してください)  And I accept the fact that some Japanese now are really good at speaking English. OK, rant that other time!
